Ford Philanthropy Scholarship Opportunity Available Now! The LNESC National Office is pleased to announce the Ford Philanthropy Scholarship is now available to qualified students! Sophomores and juniors who are first-generation students pursuing STEM degrees at accredited colleges are eligible for scholarships of up to $10,000! The fund also assists students participating in apprenticeship programs within these sectors. The scholarships will cover a range of costs associated with cost of attendance (COA), including tuition and fees, room and board, textbooks, supplies, and equipment. It aims to fund experiences crucial to developing Future of Work skills that help students thrive in their studies and succeed well after graduation. The Ford Philanthropy Scholarship can be used to cover a wide array of indirect costs related to program completion, including: 🎓 Tuition and Fees 🏫 Room and Board 📚 Books, Supplies, and Equipment 🔬 Building Career-Related Professional Skills What are the eligibility requirements? ✓ Must major in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Engineering ✓ Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale ✓ Must attend an accredited college or university full-time ✓ Must be a resident of Buffalo Metro, Chicago Metro, Cleveland Metro, Detroit Metro, Kansas City Metro, Louisville Metro, Marshall/Battle Creek, Michigan, or West Tennessee (Haywood, Tipton, Lauderdale, Madison, Fayette counties) How do I apply?
