LULAC Council 151 Honored at 2026 Texas State Convention

LULAC Council 151 of Galveston is proud to announce several prestigious recognitions received during the 2026 Texas State Convention.

Council 151 was named LULAC Council of the Year, an award that recognizes outstanding service, leadership, community involvement, and commitment to advancing the mission of LULAC.

Council President Robert Quintero was also honored with the 2026 LULAC Legends Award, recognizing his exceptional leadership and years of dedicated service to both LULAC and the community.

In addition, Council 151 Treasurer Barbara Peirsol was recognized as Woman

of the Year, while Council member Adrian Cavares received Man of the Year at the recent regional convention. These honors reflect their continued dedication to serving others and making a positive impact throughout the community.

These awards are a testament to the hard work and commitment of the entire Council 151 membership. Through educational programs, community service projects, advocacy efforts, and support for local families, Council 151 continues to make a meaningful difference in Galveston County.
