LULAC 151 supports the dislocated students at Texas A&M Galveston with a hearty home cooked meal. The 45 students were forced to evacuate their home on Pelican Island following the tragic accident that disabled the only bridge tying Galveston to Pelican Island. LULAC 151 with special support from the Lulacer owner of El Nopalito Grill, Rosa Martinez, fed a hearty meal and provided some much needed support and comfort to the students in need. LULAC stands by strong in our commitment to community and is on the frontlines keeping our town Galveston Strong. 💪
